I seemingly dropped off the face of the earth. But I've been super busy, but it wasn't all work and no play!
I actually spent most of my summer traveling. The vast majority of it was following The Smashing Pumpkins on tour. Well, I traveled to them...they did residencies in Asheville, NC and San Francisco, CA, where I saw them multiple times in each city (7 times in NC, 3 times in CA). I also attended the album release show in Washington DC.
Ironically enough, I skipped the show that took place in my home state. In my defense, it was Live Earth.
The band was amazing to me, their crew was awesome, the staff at the Orange Peel and the Fillmore were so incredibly nice...if you took the time to be nice to them anyway.
Aside from that, I went to Chicago, to Washington DC again and to Delaware.
I started working two jobs in September. Cause well, the bills don't pay themselves

But then in October, I got see the Pumpkins 4 more times in Philadelphia. I didn't get to take any pictures really because the venue was seated and therefore, I didn't end up front row. And I can't achieve the types of photos I like from too far away.
They were just as awesome as over the summer. And this time, we brought them a gift. I took pictures of the basket we gave them filled with things my friend and I made for each of them.
And to my total surprise, Ginger wore the bracelet I gave her during the show. She showed me that she was wearing it after...but that was all I knew of it.
I found out after the fact when I spotted it watching the video of said show on MSN. I'll post the screen cap next to a photo of the bracelet.
I did some more traveling right before Christmas. I went to Canada for the first time. It was beautiful and I want to live there.
So now I feel bad for neglecting my dA page for this long and have lots of catching up to do. Most of the deviations will probably be concert photographs.
It's good to be back
